This switch is the. best of both worlds, there are 4 cables in totalfrom the switch
Cable 1: This comes directly from thedynamo and provides the power
Cable 2: Shorter cable (yellow) XT 30 is designed to go to the light but can be swapped to run the USB charger
Cable 3: Longer cable (yellow) XT 30 is designed topower the USB but can also be swapped to run the light
Cable 4: AC (small black plug)always has power and will power your AC rear light, no matter which position the switch is in.
- Switch light ON / OFF (USB is always ON)
- AC rear light remains on no matter which direction the switch is.
