Nextie carbon fat bike rims are ridiculously light, durable, and reasonably priced, making them one of the best improvements you can make to your fat bike. I was skeptical at first about carbon rims, but I have been running Nextie rims on both my full suspension and fat bike for over 6 years and absolutely love them. I would highly recommend these to anyone as long as you don’t mind the extra shipping time. You can see my full review here: |

I purchased my first set of Black Eagle 65mm wide fatbike rims in late 2014 – they are still going strong after 2 three seasons of Cat1/Pro/Open singlespeed XC (fully rigid!) racing abuse; I only broke two spokes yet the rims are ready for more action, and I won overall the 2016 series races points-wise on the bike (late 2014 9:zero:7 Whiteout). I purchased my second set in late 2016 for my aggressive geometry (65° headtube angle) 120mm front-squish 2016 9:zero:7 fat MTB, and have given them proper ASTM3+ rated abuse for the past 3,400 miles and have had ZERO issues with them; rockgardens, 4' drops, hard hits, etc... these rims are up to the task for AGGRESSIVE MTB riding. Customer service and delivery times are TOP NOTCH. I am planning my next purchase with Nextie right now for a new 29er XC singlespeed project. |

I've built many bikes spec'd with these rims. The only brand I carry in Carbon. They are perfect for an all season rig with 4" tires in summer and 5" in winter. They build easy and stay true. Laps on Dirt Merchant in Whistler and 40 mile EX rides in summer or winter. Best all around size if you ride four seasons on big tires. Foes Mutz is happiest on these! |

Rode them hard for 2 years so far and they've been perfect. Excellent width for summer trail riding on 4" tires. |
